Kalsoume Sinare and Jackie Appiah spotted at Mahama’s inauguration
Ghanaian actresses Kalsoume Sinare and Jackie Appiah were among the notable figures who attended the swearing-in ceremony of President John Dramani Mahama on January 7, 2025.
The historic event, held at the iconic Black Star Square in Accra, brought together dignitaries, celebrities, and political figures from Ghana and across Africa to mark the beginning of Mahama’s tenure as the sixth president of the Fourth Republic.
Kalsoume Sinare, a celebrated actress and a known supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), made her presence felt as she navigated the venue alongside Jackie Appiah and their manager.
Sinare’s attendance came as no surprise to those familiar with her long-standing alignment with the NDC and her advocacy for the party’s values.
However, Jackie Appiah’s appearance alongside Sinare sparked curiosity and speculation among onlookers.
While Jackie has historically maintained a neutral stance on political matters, her presence at such a pivotal event raised questions about her political leanings.
The pair was spotted searching for their designated seats, drawing attention from attendees who were eager to catch a glimpse of the two screen icons.
Their appearance added a touch of glamour to the already momentous occasion, underscoring the intersection of entertainment and politics in Ghana.
