‘Krekete Soja’ is about my strength – Sista Afia

Ghanaian singer Sista Afia has opened up about the inspiration behind her song Krekete Soja, revealing that it reflects her inner strength and determination to live life on her own terms.

Speaking in an interview on GHOne monitored by MyNewsGH, she explained the meaning behind the song’s title and its connection to her personal journey.

“It’s just me talking about how strong I am. I don’t care; I just want to live my life as it should be,” she said.

She also reminisced about her younger days, adding that the term “Soja” was a nostalgic reference.

“CRI is just by the way. It’s me going back to my younger days because I remember ‘Crick’ and me doing a song with ‘Am.’ Come on, Krekete Soja will be the title—it’s true,” she shared.
