Did Diddy and his mom force out Bad Boy’s co-founder? Explosive lawsuit unfolds
The legal troubles surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs continue to mount as his mother, Janice Combs, has been hit with a lawsuit from Kirk Burrowes, a co-founder and former president of Bad Boy Entertainment.
Burrowes alleges that he was forced to give up his 25% ownership stake in the iconic record label under duress.
According to the lawsuit, the incident occurred in 1996 when Diddy, accompanied by his attorney Kenneth Meiselas, allegedly confronted Burrowes in his New York office.
Burrowes claims that Diddy wielded a baseball bat to intimidate him into signing over his shares to Janice Combs.
The lawsuit further states that this act of coercion not only led to Burrowes’ financial downfall but also resulted in him being blacklisted from the music industry, effectively ending his career.
Burrowes is now seeking to reclaim his stake in Bad Boy Entertainment, along with financial compensation for the earnings he believes he lost over the years.
This lawsuit comes at a time when Diddy himself is entangled in multiple legal battles, including serious allegations of racketeering and sex trafficking.
While Janice Combs has publicly defended her son, expressing confidence in his innocence, the allegations against her add another layer of controversy to the family’s legal woes.
