Joy News editor Araba Koomson weds in elegant private ceremony

Renowned broadcast journalist and editor at Joy News, Araba Koomson, has officially said goodbye to single life.
The respected media personality tied the knot with her longtime partner, Kwabena Ofori Amanfo, in a beautiful ceremony held in Accra on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
Though details of the celebration remain limited, sources indicate that the couple held both a traditional marriage ceremony and a white wedding. The event was private, attended by close friends and family.
Despite the low-key nature of the wedding, a few cherished moments have surfaced online. One such image, shared by media colleague Afia Pokuaa, popularly known as Vim Lady, showed Koomson adorned in a striking yellow corseted kente gown during the traditional ceremony.
“Congratulations to my dear Araba Koomson on your marriage to your sweetheart. God bless you and be the glue in this new chapter of your life,” Afia Pokuaa shared, celebrating the union.
