Annie Macaulay reportedly finalizes divorce from 2Baba — Gossip blogger claims
Word on the street is that Annie Macaulay has officially signed divorce papers, ending her long-standing marriage to music icon 2Baba Idibia.
The rumor, sparked by popular gossip blogger Cutie Juls, suggests the papers were signed just a few days ago — bringing what’s been a quietly brewing separation into a new chapter.
While the two first announced their split in January 2025 without spilling much, Annie’s recent solo appearances and 2Baba’s growing closeness with Natasha Osawaru have added more fuel to the fire.
As of now, there’s no official statement from either Annie or 2Baba — but social media is already buzzing.
As of early 2025, 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia) and his wife, actress Annie Idibia, officially separated, with divorce proceedings already in motion.
On January 26, 2025, 2Baba confirmed their split, stating that they had been living apart for some time and that a divorce had been filed.
He later addressed rumours, clarifying that his social media accounts were not hacked, as some had initially speculated.
Their relationship, which has always been in the public eye was marred by challenges, particularly 2Baba fathering children with other women during their marriage.
Annie openly shared her struggles with these issues, which have undoubtedly played a significant role in the breakdown of their union.
In the wake of the separation, Annie removed her husband’s surname from her social media profiles, a move that signifies her intent to distance herself from the relationship.
The couple’s love story, once celebrated, now seems to have come to a sad end.
