He didn’t listen to me—Grieving mother blames son’s death on Mohbad justice fight
The mother of popular TikToker Disturbing has spoken out, blaming her son’s sudden death on his tireless quest for justice for late singer, Mohbad.
Fighting through tears, the grieving mother shared how her son’s obsession with seeking the truth cost him his life. She firmly rejected claims made by her son’s widow, who said he suffered a seizure during a live TikTok session.
“My son was hale and hearty before his untimely death. He was on TikTok Live talking about Mohbad when the attack came,” she cried. “Before this incident, some people had been calling me with private numbers to warn him to stop talking about justice for Mohbad.”
According to her, Disturbing had no history of seizures or health issues. She believes the attack was spiritual — a punishment from unseen forces who wanted him silenced.
The pain in her voice was raw as she revealed she had begged him many times to step away from the case.
“I told him, but he didn’t listen to me. I am not Mohbad’s family member. What was my son’s business with Mohbad? God will deal with the person who attacked my son spiritually,” she lamented.
She also disclosed that Disturbing had been actively attending the Coroner’s Court hearings for Mohbad, despite receiving anonymous threats to back off.
Now, she’s asking Nigerians to revisit the viral live video of her son’s final moments, insisting that the signs are clear — what happened was not natural.
“He paused for a while before he started shaking. It was not ordinary,” she said, appealing to the public to help her seek the justice her son died fighting for.
