Fans rally behind disqualified BBNaija star Faith Adewale with GoFundMe support
Reality television often births not just stars but also strong fan movements, and Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) continues to prove that power year after year.
The show, known for turning ordinary Nigerians into household names, is once again at the center of conversation, this time over disqualified Season 10 housemate Faith Adewale.
Faith, who was booted out of the BBNaija house following a violent confrontation with fellow contestant Sultana, has surprisingly become one of the most talked-about names this season.
His fans, calling themselves the “Faithfuls,” have rallied behind him in a show of loyalty and compassion.
Shortly after his disqualification, the Faithfuls launched a GoFundMe campaign titled “Change the World with Faith Adewale” to help him rebuild his career outside the house. So far, the fundraiser has amassed $1,771, with a target of $55,000 and the donations keep rising.
The campaign has also sparked a wave of discussions across social media platforms, with the hashtag FaithfulsForFaith trending on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram, as fans share messages of encouragement and stories of redemption.
For longtime BBNaija followers, Faith’s journey echoes the experiences of past housemates who faced disqualification or controversy but still managed to rebuild their brands, names like Tacha Akide from Pepper Dem season, whose post-show success story redefined how fans perceive redemption, and Beauty Tukura from Level Up season, who also gained massive endorsement deals despite an early exit.
