U-20 AFCON: Ghana Goalie Ibrahim Danlaad targets Morocco’s scalp
Ghana U-20 goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlaad is targeting a positive result against Morocco when the two teams clash at the ongoing U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Satellites are currently competing for top honors at the tournament in Mauritania, aiming to replicate their feat in 2009.
Coach Karim Zito’s side recorded an emphatic 4 nil win against Tanzania in the last game and will be eager to get the needed points to boost their qualification chances.
Ibrahim Danlaad who is the team’s first choice goalie wants his colleagues to remain focused for the Moroccan encounter.
“We have won against Tanzania but in the last edition, we won our first game but failed to qualify. This means we are not done yet and we are preparing against Morocco to get a win or draw,” he said.
Ibrahim Danlaad remains firm in his stance that Ghana will go in for victory against Morocco. He has urged Ghanaians to rally behind the team with prayers.
“We are praying that we record a win against Morroco. Ghanaians should support us with prayers to ensure we get a win,” Danlad revealed.
