Asante Kotoko Coach Johnson Smith targets win against Elmina Sharks
Asante Kotoko Coach Johnson Smith says his side is eager to claim all three points against Elmina Sharks.
The two teams lock horns this evening at the Nduom Sports Stadium in a Matchweek 17 fixture.
Asante Kotoko face a Sharks side low on confidence and depleted because of certain key departures.
Benjamin Arthur, Benjamin Tweneboah and Issaka Mohammed are have all left the club and will not play any part in the encounter. Sharks are also on a 6 game winless run picking just 3 points from the last 18.
At home they are winless in the last 3 keeping no clean sheet.
Johnson Smith is confident that his side is determined to secure a win against Elmina Sharks this evening.
“Our decision is to win this game and the remaining outstanding matches to claim to the top of the table,” he told Asante Kotoko’s Express App.
“We have resolved to be at the top of the league table at the end of the season,” he continued.
