GFA President lauds Nana Addo’s gesture to U20 AFCON winning team

The President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt E S Okraku has hailed the President of Ghana for his generous gesture to the Triumphant Black Satellites team.

The Black Satellites on Tuesday met the president of the country Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House in Accra.

The team, together with the leadership of the Ghana Football Association presented the trophy to the president as well as other awards received at the tournament.

President Akufo-Addo received the team with excitement, congratulated them and charged the Ghana FA to win more laurels.

He also pledged to personally give the best player, captain, best goalkeeper and the head coach of the side $5000 each.

This will come from the president personally as the state will be rewarding each player with $10,000 while each member the technical team gets $5,000.

Kurt Okraku after the meeting used his official Facebook account to thank the President and also vowed to bring more trophies to the Jubilee House.
