Kwame Baah has been granted leave, ignore the public outburst – David Obeng Nyarko
Communication Officer of Asante Kotoko David Obeng Nyarko has debunked report that goalkeeper Kwame Baah angrily walked out of training on Thursday.
This comes after various media reported the beleguered goalkeeper walked out from the training grounds after a burst up with the head coach of the team.
But the head of communication of the club has swiftly denied the report insisting the goalkeeper showed signs of pain during training session and was granted leave by the coach.
In a post on his Facebook page, the Communication Officer called on the fans to disregard the report and remain focused on the progress of the club.
“Kwame Baah reported to training this morning but showed signs of pain during a regular sprint exercise.
Upon detection by the Head Coach and the medical team it was agreed that Baah takes few days off training to enable him rest whiles under treatment.
Kindly disregard any other narrative or information which is contrary to the above.
Let’s stay focused 🙏🏾.
