PHOTOS: GFA Licence D Coaching Course takes off in Tamale today
The License D Coaching Course organised by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) officially takes off in Tamale today.
The intensive course is in two batches with the first batch running from April 12, 2021 to April 20, 2021 while the second batch runs from April 21, 2021 to April 29, 2021.
Some of the key areas of the training include growth and development of young footballers, methods of coaching and cardio vascular resuscitation/ administration of first aid. Participants will also be taking through series of practical sessions.
The training program will be led by the GFA Technical Director Bernhard Lippert and Director of Coaching Education, Professor Joseph Mintah.
The Licence D Coaching Course will be held across the 10 Regional Football Associations for the promotion and development of grassroots football.
The instructors for the course include former Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu, Black Maidens head coach Baba Nuhu Malam and RTU head coach who is also the Sports Director for Ghana University Sports Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko.
