Australian High Commissioner to Ghana thumps up Ghana Jollof, says there is no way Nigerian Jollof could be better than Ghana Jollof

Vida Essel-LampteyThe Australian High Commissioner to Ghana, Mr Gregory Andrews has thumps up Ghana Jollof, a popular rice dish in West and Sub-Saharan Africa over that of Nigeria.
Mr Andrews who revealed in September last year that among some of the delicious delicacies of Ghana that he had really enjoyed was a three days old fufu said there was no way Nigerian Jollof could be better than Ghana Jollof.
His comment was after he had eaten jollof rice he purchased from Dollar Rice located on Ghana’s finest and busy Osu Oxford Street in Accra.
Sharing his experience with the most sought after Ghanaian delicacy in a twitter post on Wednesday, April 21, sighted by GhanaPlus.com, Mr Andrew wrote: “There is no way Nigerian #JollofRice could be better than the Ghanaian #Jollof which I bought for lunch today from Dollar Rice on Oxford Street in Osu. Tell me I’m wrong @AusHCAbuja. #JollofWars”.
The Australian High Commissioner, arguable the most loved and engaging diplomat Ghana has ever had shared the post with pictures of his jollof experience on the Oxford Street.

Ghana Nigeria Jollof war
Ghana and Nigeria have been at war for years on who actually owns the bragging right when it comes to the African cuisine in terms of taste.
The battle had almost always gone in favour of Ghana as many had argued Ghana Jollof was the best.
