“We didn’t give up” – Mariano Barreto hails the performance of his boys following their comeback win against Dreams
Asante Kotoko head coach, Mariano Baretto has hailed the performance of his player’s following their win against Dreams FC in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupines Warriors survived an early scares coming back from a goal down to win 3-1 at the Len Clay Stadium in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league.
Speaking to the media after the game, the coach admitted his side struggled at the early stages of the game but they worked hard to turn things around
“We feel too much problem, they are come here, they know our key points.
“In the first half we feel too much problem unfortunately we took a goal.
“Stupid penalty but it’s penalty no doubt.
“But we didn’t fall out, we didn’t give up, it was in the hard moment that we start to remember what happened with Medeama.
“But this is why we are working hard, to try to solve this problem.” Baretto said in a post match.
Kotoko remained top of the table after Medeama failed to beat Liberty Professionals at the Sogakope in other games.
