The Former Deputy Information Minister, Mr Pius Enam Hadzide has said he is currently unemployed following his inability to make it to the ministerial list of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his second term.

According to him, he is currently unemployed in the public space but helps in running other stuff behind the lime light.

“I am, I am unemployed at least in the public space. I do assist in the running of one or two things but yes you will be right to say I am unemployed,” he said.

The formal Deputy Minister made the comment in a conversation with renowned broadcaster and Chief Executive Officer of the EIB Network, Nana Aba Anamoah on Starr Chat on Wednesday, June 23, monitored by Ghanaplus.com.

I wasn’t surprise on was not on President second term ministerial lists

Speaking on the programme, the New Patriotic Party(NPP) stalwart said he was not surprised he did not make it to the list because he did not expect it in the place adding  the honour to serve in the President administration were solely at the discretion of the President.

“No, surprise will not be the word, I was not expecting so surprised and disappointment are a function of expectation, I was not expecting, I had a clear understanding that the choice of ministers and deputy ministers and everybody who works in the government is solely at the discretion of the president” .

Enam Hadzide out of Akufo-Addo second term ministerial list

Mr Puis Enam Hadziede, a former Deputy Minister to the Minister of Information, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah in the first term of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo from 2016 to 2020 failed to make it to the ministerial list release by the President in his second term.

The renowned politician was replaced by the Deputy Director of Communication at the Presidency, Ms Fatimatu Abubakar in the 39 deputy ministers names by the President on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.
