Match Report : Great Olympics 0-1 Eleven Wonders – Clement Boahene late strike hand Wonders survival boost
Eleven Wonders made a huge stride in their battle for survival with 0-1 win against Great Olympics.
A late strike from Clement Boahene Boahene was enough to hand Wonders a huge win at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The home side came close in the early minutes of the fixture to open the floodgate through Abdul Mudasiru but his effort was saved by goalkeeper John Moosie.
In the second half, Coach Ignatius Osei Fosu’s tactical substitutions with the introduction of Alex Asamoah and Prince Okraku secured them all the needed points in Accra.
Experienced striker Alex Asamoah kept the back line of Great Olympics sweating as he became a chief tormentor as his effort produced the only goal recorded in the match
Eleven Wonders picked their second away win of the season after Abass Ganiu brilliantly tap in a pass from Asamoah on the 85th minute of the game.
Eleven Wonders have moved up to eleventh position with 39 points as Great Olympics drop from the top four to fifth place with 49 points.
