Dauda faces uncertain future at Anderlecht
RSC Anderlecht has already had a busy transfer period, but with a month to go, there seems to be a lot going on. The core also needs to be pruned. Quite a few players fell outside the core last weekend, although that doesn’t mean they have to leave.
Before the match, there was no Elias Cobbaut, Michel Vlap, Zeno Debast, Mohammed Dauda and Timon Wellenreuther in the selection of RSC Anderlecht. Here and there it sounds that some of them are allowed to leave, but that is not necessarily the case, according to Het Laatste Nieuws.
According to the newspaper, only Cobbaut and Wellenreuther are currently certain that they will be allowed to leave the Brussels residents. Vincent Kompany sees no future in the duo, so they can look forward to a new club.
That could also mean that Vlap can hope for a new chance with the inhabitants of Brussels. Last season, loaned to Armenia Bielefield and now started the season in the stands, but a new chance remains an option. However, Vlap will have to fight in the team, which will not be easy with Anouar Ait El Hadj, Yari Verschaeren and Lior Refaelov as biggest competitors.
