Ignatius Osei touted as one of the best coaches in GPL by Amos Frimpong
A former Asante Kotoko captain, Amos Frimpong has touted young enterprising coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu as one of the best coaches in the Ghana Premier League.
Osei Fosu despite the torrid start as Eleven Wonders coach was able to steer the club to survive relegation in the just ended Ghana Premier League.
Frimpong teamed up with Osei Fofu at the club after leaving Guinean side AS Khaloum.
Speaking in an interview, Frimpong lauded the young gaffer for steering the club to escape relegation.
“For the coaches, I have worked with Coach Ignatius Osei but some other coaches did well especially Coach Samuel Boadu. After leaving Medeama for Hearts of Oak, he changed everything that everyone can see that his writing is on the team and I can testify to that,” he told Ghanasportspage.
“They all did well but I can say that Coach Ignatius Osei’s performance was good but people might not see the good side of him because of working with Eleven Wonders.”
“He is one of the best coaches Ghanaians should watch out for and support him because he is having some qualities. If we support him he can help Ghana for the nation to benefit.
“Playing in the second round, I can choose Coach Ignatius Osei as one of the best coaches in Ghana because I have worked under him and I know the good instructions he gives us on the pitch.
“His qualities can help Ghana so we should support and give him the platform so that we can see his good works,” he added.
