Awako, Afutu, Barnieh included as Hearts of Oak register 36 players for CAF Champions League
Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have registered 36 players for the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
The Phobians will begin their campaign against Guinean side Club Industriel de Kamsar as they look to make impact in Africa.
In a listed published on the Confederation of African Football (CAF) website, Hearts of Oak included Benjamin Afutu who was reportedly leaving the club, newcomer Gladson Awako and star man Afriyie Barnieh in their squad.
The list also include six players from the Auroras namely Bernard Obuo, Franklin Owusu, Issah Abukah Issifu, Daniel Yeboah, Benjamin Nana Yeboah, and Anwar Abdul Basit.
Meanwhile, trio Daniel Kodie, Aziz Nurudeen and Mamani Lawali were left out of the squad list due to injuries whiles Abednego Tetteh, Eric Dizan and Abdul Manaf Gumah were excluded for an unknown reason.
