Gideon Jung’s downtime can only be determined after operation

On Wednesday, an operation was scheduled for Gideon Jung. The central defender injured his knee while warming up before the game against Arminia Bielefeld and is now out. How long, that is still open according to kicker.

Only after the operation could it be said which downtime the Fürth and Jung had to be prepared for. Although it is already in the room that the 26-year-old suffered meniscus damage, it is unclear whether and which ligaments are additionally affected.
