CK Akonnor will make changes to the starting eleven against Bafana Bafana
On Monday, coach CK Akonnor will make adjustments to his starting lineup against South Africa in the World Cup qualifiers.
In the second round, the Bafana Bafana will face the Black Stars in Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium.
Due to COVID-19 limitations, Ghana will be without the services of the following English-based players: Jeffrey Schlupp, Daniel Amartey, Andy Yiadom, Baba Abdul Rahman, and Jordan Ayew.
Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, who made his debut last Friday against Ethiopia, will also be unavailable for Monday’s encounter.
Due to the absence of the aforementioned individuals, Akonnor will have to change his starting lineup for Monday’s encounter.
Fatawu Mohammed, Majeed Ashimeru, Yaw Yeboah, Joel Fameyeh, and Jonathan Mensah are all in line to start for the Black Stars.
On Friday, a Mubarak Wakaso long shot gave Ghana a 1-0 win against Ethiopia at the Cape Coast Stadium.
South Africa also played a scoreless draw with Zimbabwe on Friday and will be looking for a win against the Black Stars.
