Ghana FA boss Kurt Okraku earns plaudit from top Ghanaian politician
Deputy General Secretary for the ruling New Patriotic Party, Nana Obiri Boahen has showered praises on Kurt Okraku for the job he has done since taking over the reins of the Ghana Football Association.
The former Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC has been in office since 2019 after winning the FA Presidential elections.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Hello FM, the astute lawyer indicated Kurt Okraku has improved Ghana football.
“I don’t think in my life I have met Kurt Okraku before but to be frank, I think Kurt is doing very well. He’s a human being so there may be misfortunes but for me, they are doing well, let’s give them the benefit of the doubt because the game was in a sorry state before Kurt and his people took over”
“Currently, there has been an improvement. The referees are doing well, even they have a partnership with STC which has been helpful to the referees. So, Kurt is on course as far as I am concerned”
“Their sponsorship with StarTimes also helped those of us who like the local game to watch at least two games every match, and that was impressive”
“Kurt has done well but there is room for improvement. So let’s give them the benefit of the doubt”
