Asante Kotoko should be patient with coach Prosper Nartey-Ogum – Ex-Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah
Asante Kotoko legend Kwesi Appiah has thrown his weight behind Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum to succeed at the club after being appointed as the new head coach.
The 43-year-old was appointed as the Porcupine Warriors new coach after guiding WAFA to a third-place finish on the Ghana Premier League table last season.
He comes to replace Portuguese trainer Mariano Barreto who parted ways with the club after a short stint.
Interview with Cape Coast-based radio station ATL FM, Kwasi Appiah called on management and fans of the club to exercise patience as he strongly believes Prosper Nartey will need time to deliver.
“We need to give him enough time and exercise patience and he will deliver “
Dr Prosper Narteh was introduced to the playing squad on Monday as the club officially begun its preseason.
