Ghanaian defender Bright Gyamfi pleased with the rise of former coach Roberto De Zerbi
Ghanaian defender Bright Gyamfi is pleased with the rise of former trainer Roberto De Zerbi who now heads a club that plays in the UEFA Champions League.
The 25-year-old who is currently without a club after leaving AC Reggiana after expiration of his contract worked under De Zerbi during his stints with Italian side Benevento.
Before joining Benevento, Gyamfi had featured for Italian giants Inter Milan.
Gyamfi after seeing Roberto De Zerbi taking charge of Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League expressed he is pleased with his former manager’s development and has wished him well.
Shakhtar Donetsk in mid-week played a 0-0 draw with Inter Milan.
“Mister De Zerbi is a very precise coach, he knows how to make his players play, he knows how to convey his ideas. He believes in what he does, without changing”
“His mentality and his idea of football do not change. He likes to play football; he likes to have fun. He is doing well; I am pleased to see him coach a team that plays in the Champions League: I wish him great things.
