OFFICIAL: Asante Kotoko announce the signing of Stephen Amankona
Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of forward Stephen Amankona ahead of the start of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
The highly rated attacker has penned a three-year deal with the club following a protracted negotiations with his club.
He joins the Porcupines Warriors for deal reported to be in the region of $30,000.
Amankona was spectacular for Berekum Chelsea last season which has attracted keen interest from the two most glamours clubs in the country.
He was sensational and undoubtedly one of the best players in the league having scored 15 goals in all competitions in the 2020-21 season coupled with 7 assists, alongside three man-of-the-match awards.
He becomes the club’s twelve signing of the transfer window as they look to build a solid team for the coming season.
