Obeng, key player for Oveido reacts to the victory against Ponferradina
Minutes before training began at El Requexon, the first for Real Oviedo after Sunday’s victory against Ponferradina, Samuel Obeng analyzed the blue news in the press room. The forward, who scored his fourth goal of the season at El Toralín and was one of the most outstanding Carbayones players of the match, spoke about how the team experienced the victory in Ponferrada.
How is the team
“When you come to win, Mondays look different.”
“They were three important points, but as important as any other game. There was also no otherworldly tension, it was just another match. It was important to score three points for not winning for a long time and because we were coming off a tough defeat,”
How you saw the game
«The one who scores a goal more than the other wins. There are moments in the game when it is important to have the ball, especially when the opponent is harassing you. In the end, the one who scores one more goal wins and yesterday we had chances to have gone with more advantage in the first half, but we were right when we had to be ”.
“Borja Bastón and I are teammates and we compete for what is ours, but the important thing is that what we do benefits the team.”
“We won away and in a field where the last years had been difficult for Oviedo. We were able to win, with a great atmosphere and with our people present, who did not fail and were there as always. Very thankful”.
Malaga
“We are thinking about Malaga. It would be good to score three points at home and make the Tartiere a fort, which is costing us more. You have to work well per week,”
