Prophets want their prophecies to come true to show how powerful they’re
On October 26, 2021, the Inspector General of Police(IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare held a closed-door meeting with the leadership of faith-based organizations in the country.
The meeting, according to a police statement was to deliberate on how churches and other organizations can go about their operations taking into account the position of the law.
Ghanaian musician, who is a former member of defunct group 4×4, Captain Planet has spoken about how prophets must go about their prophesies in order not to break the law.
“Any pastor who comes to prophesy and put it on social media then their prayer is for it to come to pass so that people will see that he is powerful but it shouldn’t happen like that,” he said in an interview on Kastle FM.
“God revealed it to you because He wants you to lead and deliver the person so when you get prophesies make sure you reach out to the person and deliver them from the doom,” he told Amansan Krakye.
He added “If there’s the need to do some fasting and prayers to curtail what’s about to happen just do that but the moment you say it on social media then you want fame and publicity.
“Then it means that you want to show that you are happy with the doom prophecies and you wish it happens so that people will see that you are a true man of God,” he ended.
