Only loose inquiries about Yeboah – Sturm sports director Andreas Schicker
Less than a year ago, SK Sturm secured the rights to Kelvin Yeboah and transferred around half a million euros to WSG Tirol.
The market value of the 21-year-old has now risen significantly. The striker has scored 18 goals and nine assists in 40 competitive games for Graz and has also been an Italian U21 team player since September.
At “Sky”, the Ghanaian- born Italian raves about the U21 team: “It’s an incredible experience for me, it’s a dream. It’s a fantastic feeling to be part of this team.”
Not least because of his international appearances, Yeboah has played on the notepads of many scouts. Sturm’s sports director Andreas Schicker knows that too, who explains: “There are always inquiries, but so far there have only been loose inquiries. There is no written offer on the table.”
If the Styrians have their way, Yeboah will stay with the club at least until the summer. “I think his development is not over yet and he is in very good hands with us. The plan is very clear that he will finish the season with us, but I don’t want to rule out 100 percent that he will go in winter. You know what football is like, “said Schicker.
Yeboah’s contract with SK Sturm runs until summer 2024.
