2021 AFCON: Ghana has quality and passion for tournament – Milovan Rajevac
Ghana head coach Milovan Rajevac is upbeat about Ghana’s chances of succeeding at the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament after stressing that the Black Stars have the quality and passion.
The West African national team is one of 24 assembled in Cameroon to battle for glory at the delayed continental showpiece.
Looking forward to Ghana’s first match of the tournament, Milovan Rajevac says there are no injuries in camp.
According to him, his side has the quality and passion and wants to fight to make Ghanaians proud.
“We don’t have any injuries and about expectations, we have the quality and passion for this, and we are dedicated to this, we know how this is so important to Ghanaians and we want us to make Ghanaians happy,” coach Milovan Rajevac said at a press conference on Sunday.
On Monday, January 10, 2022, Ghana will take on Morocco in a Group C encounter to kick start the AFCON campaign.
That match has been scheduled to kick off at 16:00GMT.
