AFCON 2021: No injury worries in Ghana camp ahead of Morocco clash

Black Stars will face Morroco in the opening game of the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament on Monday with a full house after coach Milovan Rajevac confirmed there is no injury worries in the camp of the team.

The four-time African champions will begin their quest for a fifth Africa Cup of Nations trophy when they face the Atlas Lions of Morroco.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Sunday, Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac says there are no injury concerns in the camp of the Black Stars.

“We don’t have any injuries and about expectations we have the quality and passion for this, and we are dedicated to this, we know how this is so important to Ghanaians and we want us to make Ghanaians happy,” Coach Milovan Rajevac told journalists.

Both Jordan Ayew and Andre Ayew are who missed Ghana’s friendly against Algeria are expected to start against Morroco on Monday.

The Black Stars will later take on Gabon and Comoros in the other Group C matches.
