Fiorentina needs to improve in front of goal – Alfred Duncan after Hellas Verona draw

Ghana international Joseph Alfred Duncan believes his side must improve in front of goal after sharing the spoils against Hellas Verona last Sunday.

Duncan was in action in the Italian Serie A when Fiorentina played a 1-1 draw on home turf against Hellas Verona.

He was introduced in the 46th minutes but was unable to help huis side to victory.

After sharing the spoils, the Ghanaian midfielder noted his outfit need to be more decisive in front of goal after wasting numerous goal scoring opportunities in the game.

“In the second half we took the game in hand, we wanted to win at all costs. There remains bitterness but it must be a lesson because in the first half we created less”

“We need to improve quickly in front of goal: in the last few games we are scoring few goals despite creating a lot”

“We have to be more decisive in the last meters. Hellas? They came with a different personality type and it’s hard to play against”

“However, these are the games in which to be even more focused and concrete. I am happy to have entered the game well, thanks to the two central players who allowed me to enter a lot. I’m sorry I didn’t win; it will be better next time. “
