Video: Attacker Prince Ampem nets in Rijeka away defeat

Attacker Prince Ampem scored for the third time this season for HNK Rijeka in their defeat to NK Hrvatski Dragovoljac in Croatian 1. HNL on Sunday.

Dragovoljac won the round of 27 match 2-1 at Stadion NSC Stjepan Spajic.

The hosts took the lead in the 23rd minute, with Karlo Peric opening the scoring. He doubled his lead five minutes after the break.

The 23-year-old attacker entered the game at the start of the second half, replacing compatriot Issah Abass in the 46th minute.

Rijeka’s consolation goal came in the 74th minute from Prince Ampem as they fell from first to third place after losing to the bottom-placed club. The attacker took one, two touches and unleashed a wonderful shot into the net.

This season, the former WAFA SC player has scored three goals and contributed five assists in 24 games for Rijeka in Croatia’s top division.
