World Cup 2022 draw: Ghana pitted in Group H to face Portugal, Uruguay, Korea Republic

Ghana has been drawn in Group H of the 2022 FIFA World Cup to face Portugal, Korea Republic, and longtime enemy Uruguay.

The draw for this year’s global tournament was staged today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.

At the end of a nervy event watched across the globe, the pairings for the draw have been concluded.

For Ghana’s Black Stars, the team has been pitted in Group H where the team will face Portugal in the opening match.

Subsequently, the Black Stars will face Uruguay and Korea Republic in the second and third games of the tournament respectively.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022.
