2021/22 Ghana Premier League: Week 23 match report – Farouk Adams solitary strike for Bibiani Goldstars sinks Dreams FC
Bibiani Goldstars returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Dreams FC in matchday 23 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Bibiani-based club suffered a defeat to Accra Lions in mid-week and needed to win this game in order to keep their hopes of making a meaningful impact in their debut campaign.
The two sides created a lot of chances but it was Goldstars who registered a goal in the first half.
Former Aduana Stars defender, Farouk Adams scored the only goal of the match to propel his side to victory at the Duns Park on Sunday afternoon.
Dreams FC after sharing the spoils on home turf with Bechem United in mid-week succumbed to a defeat.
The Ghana Premier League debutants sit 12th position with 29 points whereas Dreams FC occupies 10th spot with 30 points after week 23.
