Kofi Kinaata has set a world record even Michael Jackson couldn’t achieve
Movie icon, Mr. Beautiful has controversially said that Highlife artiste, Kofi Kinaata has done what the late Michael Jackson couldn’t do as a musician.
In an interview on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM, Mr. Beautiful born Clement Bonney revealed that Kofi Kinaata winning ‘VGMA Songwriter of the Year’ awards on four different occasions is a world record.
“Kofi Kinaata who sings in the Fante language has done some compositions which have never happened in this world,” he remarked.
“It has never happened that a single artiste has been able to win songwriter of the year award on four different occasions,” he asked Amansan Krakye in an interview.
“Where in this world did it also happen that an individual achieved that even Michael Jackson couldn’t achieve such a great record,” he bragged.
Kofi Kinaata is the only artiste to win the coveted Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), Songwriter of the Year award, four times and his lyrics were recently authorized for literature students at KNUST.
