Ghana coach Otto Addo admits he is aware of the possibility of losing Black Stars job
The head coach of the Ghana national team, Otto Addo has disclosed that he is aware of the cruelty that comes with coaching any team.
According to him, he knows the same way doors opens for managers, the same way chances slide away.
“Doors can close just as quickly as opportunities and offers open up. Especially when you have family responsibilities and, like me, a job at the moment away from the fast-paced everyday business, such decisions can only be made in harmony with the family,” Coach Otto Addo told Transfer Market in an interview.
The Germany-trained coach made a name for himself in March when he guided Ghana’s Black Stars to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament.
After that feat, he has been offered the national team job on a permanent basis. Due to his desire to continue working with Dortmund, there is an agreement reached for him to dualise the job.
Hence, Coach Otto Addo will be in the dugout when Ghana kicks off the campaign in the qualifiers to the 2023 AFCON in June.
