Mr Dan Kwaku Botwe who is the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development has dared the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to bring out alternative policies that will urge the current government to solve the economic downturn in the country.
Speaking on the issue, he indicated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) when in opposition rolled out some policies that help the government to develop the country, but in a turn of events, the NDC is rather making wild allegations against the government.
He further accused the media of being silent on government projects as he believes the government is doing a lot for the country and they will tell their story in due time.
He said, “The party does not exist just to win elections, we formed it to build policies and ideas that will help the people of the country… We will be engaging the media to tell them about our policies and how we are helping the county.”
“Have you ever seen the opposition party engaging the media and giving out ideas or policies that can help the country from the economic crises?.”
“What alternative do they have for what is happening, they want to come to power again but have no solution for the country’s situation.”
