Your threat don’t frighten me – Akufo-Addo tells Kwabre and Manso people

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has responded to the threat made by residents of Kwabre and Manso in the Ashanti Region to vote against the NPP in the 2024 elections if their roads are not fixed.
Speaking at OTEC FM on his 6days tour of the region monitored by GhanaPlus.com, the President said he is not frightened by the threat.
“No problem, no problem, Am saying people make those kind of threat, me they don’t frighten me because yes somebody votes for you, somebody support you is because they want you to do things for them so I understand that,” Akufo-Addo said.
“There is no need for people to say if I don’t do it, this and that. That one is your own business….. If it comes that in the election if you decide to vote for the NDC, that is your own business, that is not mine business. Nobody holds you hands to cast your vote, it is your own job”.
The resident had threatened to vote against the NPP in the 2024 elections if, the President, Nana Akufo-Addo does not fix their deplorable roads.
I will fix Kwabre and Manso roads – Akufo-Addo
The President, however, said his government will fix the Kwabre and Manso roads, the threat regardless because they understand the responsibility handed them when they were voted into power.
The President said “The important thing is that I understand the responsibility and I will deal with it”.
“Of cause i will do it” Akufo-Addo answered when asked by the host if he will fix the roads.
The People of Kwabre and Manso in the Ashanti Region, a strong hold of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) is confronted with bad roads affecting transportation system and business and life in the area in general.
