Some Muslims wish to go and die at Mecca during pilgrimage
Afro-Islam pioneer, Hajia Sa-ada Muhammed popularly known in showbiz circles as Hajia Police has given some guidelines to first-timers who are going to Mecca for the Hajj pilgrimage.
She said on Property FM in Cape Coast “Going to Mecca is everyone’s wish at least for those who have never been there before so you have to pray hard in order to get there and it’s good for you to be able to get there.
“But going to Mecca it’s not just about you having enough money and being healthy so you need to go but rather there are rules and regulations to it.
“The source of the money you want to use to travel to Mecca is very important because you can’t take a loan to travel to Mecca or fraudulently cheat someone,” she added.
In a one-on-one exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Hajia Police said it is the wish of some people who travel to Mecca to go and die there.
“When going to Mecca you need to prepare your mind as to whether you will come back alive or dead but it does happen so some people even prefer to be buried there,” she continued on Showbiz on Property.
“All the same don’t do certain things like you are forcing yourself to go and die there at Mecca beside you need to be moderate in all your doings.
“Don’t carry a lot of your belongings in your luggage to Mecca because when you get there with a little money you can buy so many things but you need to be careful of your spending,” she advised.
