My multiple ‘Amapiano’ hit songs doesn’t mean I’m one-way
Ghanaian musician, Chief One born Michael Ivan Nyagamagu has said that having multiple Amapiano hit songs doesn’t make him a one-way artiste.
He remarked “Just like I’m hot now it’s the same with Amapiano because that’s the kind of vibe that we vibe to right now so that’s what it’s ruling the system.
“Because they know me for my Amapiano hit songs so they think I’m one-way but if you listen to me on a Hip Hop beat you’ll be shocked,” he told Amansan Krakye the host.
“Go and google Chief One and you’ll know the kind of stuffs that I can do that’s all,” Chief One responded on Showbiz On Property sighted by MyNewsGh.com
According to the singer from Volta Region, he’s versatile for doing other genres of music and so it’s not only Amapiano that he’s known for in the showbiz fraternity.
He revealed “The song that I dropped before my current song Toyota that’s ‘One Day’ and that one it is not an Amapiano song but it is is full of motivational lyrics.
“Across all the digital platforms I’m getting almost one million streams for One Day so it’s not just Amapiano that I’m known for,” he concluded on Property Radio in Cape Coast.
