Appietus disputes Guinness World Records for the producer with the most hit songs
Ghanaian veteran music producer, Appiah Dankwah popularly known as Appietus has heavily disagreed with the Guinness World Records for honoring Johnny Kitagawa.
According to the annual publisher of human achievements and Extremes of the natural world, the Japanese music legend has produced over 232 hit songs.
But in disputing the claims of the British reference book publisher, the iconic record producer and singer said he has produced more hit songs than Johnny Kitagawa.
In a Facebook post sighted by MyNewsGh.com’s Amansan Krakye, Appietus said he got tired of counting his hit songs which are 200 and over but he might cross 300 if he continues.
He wrote “Aaah I just Googled (Guinness world record for the music producer with the most number of hits songs) Heeerrrh Guinness paaaa !
He disputed “But I have produced more hit songs than Johnny Kitagawa (Only 232 hit songs) Me I got tired of compiling my hit songs around 200 and something if continue I might even cross 300”.
