The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Awutu Senya East Constituency of the Central Region, inaugurated the party’s Diaspora Caucus.
The investiture ceremony happened at Nyaniba Health Training College, off Kasoa New Market Road opposite ADB Bank.
The Constituency Chairman, Mr. Agyare Ofosu Stephen, encouraged the Volta Diaspora Caucus to inform and educate constituents regularly about matters of national development and happenings within the main opposition NDC party.
The Awutu Senya East Constituency NDC Parliamentary Candidate, Hon. Phillis Naa K. Akunor, hopeful to emerge victorious in the December 7, 2024 elections, urged the Volta Diaspora Caucus to campaign vigorously for former president John Dramani Mahama and all the NDC Parliamentary Candidates nationwide.
She also advised the youth to eschew violence and unite before, during, and after the elections.
Hon. Phillis Naa K. Okunor encouraged the members, sympathizers, and those who have lost faith in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), to vote massively for her and John Mahama for them to fulfill their campaign promise to Ghanaians.
She also advised the Volta Diaspora Caucus and the Chiefs in Kasoa and its environs to unite and seek the welfare of all Ghanaians, particularly Voltarians.
The Central Regional Volta Diaspora Caucus Coordinator, Mamaga Kafui Amegashie Stephanie, encouraged the members to come out in their numbers on December 7, 2024, and vote for the NDC to return to power.
She also encouraged the youths and members to take the opportunity to train their children, supply their needs, and guide them to have a better future.
