Former United State of America (USA) President, Mr Donald Trump, has said he has done more for Christianity and even religion more than any other person.
The US politician, media personality, and businessman who served as the 45th president of the United States from 2017 to 2021 made the claim in a viral video sighted by GhanaPlus.com on Thursday, May 5.
“You know, nobody has done more for Christianity, nobody has done more for religion of all types, than me. And they’re really doing things now, to and I’ve always said it, they are against organized religion, they’re against Christianity,” he said in the video making rounds on twitter.
Mr Trump was speaking in an interview on Christian Broadcasting Network, otherwise known as CBN News.
A report by thedailybeast.com suggests this is not the first time the US politician has made such comments.
Mr Trump is reported to have made similar comment on the same network in 2018.
“Nobody’s done more for Christians or evangelicals or frankly religion than I have,” he is reported to have said.
He is also reported to have said same statement on another Christian networked named The Victory Channel last year.
“Nobody has ever done for the black community what President Trump has done” that nobody has more respect for women than he does”, that he knows “more about court than any human being on earth” that he knows more about drones than anybody” “knows more about taxes than anyone else” “maybe in the history of the world” and that he’s done more for veterans than the late Sen. John Main, who, unlike Trump was actually a veteran” thedailybeast.com quoted Mr Trump to have said.
