Davido Reveals Plan Of Signing More Artists This Year

Highly rated Nigerian singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, widely known as Davido has revealed his intention of signing new artists to his label.

You would recall that Davido terminated his contract with Lil Frosh after allegedly beating his girlfriend to a pulp. Well, the Davido Music Worldwide head open up about his plans of signing new acts to his outfit.

The ‘Assurance’ hit-maker made this known in a recent interview that his record label will be opening its doors to fresh artists this year. He spoke about how he recruited his first acts after launching his label.

The multiple award winning act said; “I started up with Dremo and Mayorkun. They did exceptionally well, especially Mayorkun and then moved to Peruzzi, now we have new artists like Dede and first lady, Liya”.

He added that he would be signing more artists this year, though he didn’t specify the number artists that will be joining the DMW family. Davido is known for supporting rising talented acts, he has assisted many on their songs, helping them reach a wider audience.

In Other News; Top Nigerian musician, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy has taken to his social media pages to update fans and music lovers on his next album.

You would recall that in May 2021, the African Giant hinted that his next studio album would touch the hearts of many. In October, the ‘On The Low’ hit-maker revealed that he isn’t dropping an album till further notice.

Fans and music consumers took to the bird app to plead with the Afrobeats superstar after he made known that he will not drop an album anytime soon. In a recent post by Burna Boy, he will still drop an album but rather he would be ordering Azul (Alcohol).

He took to his verified Twitter page to share; “I Fit Still No Drop Album Sha. Na To Dey Order Azul I Wan Continue To Dey Do”.
