How The Black Stars Arrived In Ghana Like ‘Thieves’ At 3:00 Am Following Shambolic Display At AFCON 2021
After their shambolic display at the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON), the Black Stars have arrived in Ghana.
The Black Stars of Ghana failed to win a match in the tournament and ended up with only one point after losing to Morocco and Comoros and drawing their game with Gabon.
This was also the first time since 2006 that they have failed to progress past the group stages of the competition.
It was revealed on Wednesday, January 19 that the team will arrive in Ghana on Thursday, January 20 and many Ghanaians thought the team will arrive in the afternoon or maybe in the evening.
However, it seems the team had different plans as their arrival can be likened to a thieve arrival at a place where he or she is going to steal.
They got into the country around 3:00 am on Thursday morning and this was made known by renowned Ghanaian journalist, Thierry Nyan on Twitter.
The post he made reads;
“Correct source says Black Stars arrived in Ghana at 3AM this morning. 3AM !!!!!!!! If they won the trophy, they’d have arrived in the afternoon to get fans. They’ve gone to their homes silently.”

A video of their arrival was also shared on social media by Pulse Ghana. Watch the video below;
