“I’m A Different Guy, Don’t Even Compare Me To Any Artist In The World”-Shatta Wale Makes Bold Statement

Self-acclaimed Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has made claims of being a different breed among all other musicians in the world, hence he needs not be compared to any.

During his #FreedomWave event, Shatta Wale declared that he does not need to collaborate with Nigerians to sell out his show. He claimed that while the Ghanaian music business has always backed Nigerian singers, Nigerian musicians have refused to reciprocate.

On stage, Shatta Wale expressed his displeasure with how some Ghanaians believe he can’t sell out his own performances without collaborating with Nigerians.

His rants meted a lot of mixed reactions on social media especially from Nigerians as most of them lambast him for condemning Nigerian musicians on stage. He has been chastised by many who have been offended by his harsh words as well as some Nigerian industry players like DJ Bign.

In a recent tweet, he made on his Twitter page, Shatta Wale claims that he is a different guy among his colleagues and other musicians in other parts of the world, hence he needs not to be compared to anyone when it comes to music.

He wrote; Shatta wale -I am a different guy ,Dont even compare me to any artiste in the world ..If you do that ,I will rise right infront of you like a Volcano ,burn your shame and watch my disgrace be my grace in ur Nigerian face …This is not a fite,it’s the fucken truth #F
