Oswald “Our Day” list goes viral
Oswald, a pupil of Christ Ambassadors School had been all over social media after his passionate appeal to his mother to provide a list of items he had pencil down in fulfillment of a commitment to pass his examinations surfaced on social media.
In the letter dated July 29 and titled “Things to bring to Our Day” and written in pencil, Oswald asked that she keeps her end of the bargain by providing his needs, today, Friday, July 30th which happens to be the day of the ‘Our Day’, i.e end of term party.
The aptly detailed by the nine-year-old with the aid of diagrams included biscuits, drinks, and communication of a said waiver by his teacher to allow him to use his iPad device in class, just for the occasion.
The young boy also requested for a big cake for Mrs Appiah, the said teacher who granted him the waiver to use his iPad at school on the day of the “Our Day”.
Oswald began the letter with “Read every tiny note” and ended with a plea “Please don’t disappoint me,”
The letter has since gone viral with all of his wished fulfilled beyond expectations.
Sponsors for Oswald’s Our Day
His mother told JoyFM she had received calls from institutions and individuals who had asked to sponsor her son’s ‘Our Day’ and also make donations to the school he attends.
Pictures and videos of Mrs Appiah’s cake had also been sighted online from some sponsors.
Ghanaian Musician Kidi also requested for details of the school so he can perform at the ‘Our Day’.
