‘This is disrespectful’- DJ Khaled roasted By Jamaicans on twitter for butchering Bob Marley Guitar
This weekend, Twitter users criticized DJ Khaledrelentlessly for his awful guitar skills.
The instrument in question was a Guild Guitar, which is identical to Bob Marley’s Madeira A-20 guitar and was created in partnership with the Marley family. DJ Khaled received it from either the Marley family or the creator, along with a small note from the family.
The footage appeared on the internet and swiftly spread across social media. Fans were outraged to watch the well-known producer’s failure to play the instrument despite the fact that he has worked with a wide range of artists.
DJ Khaled displays the handwritten note in the video and delivers it to a woman to read. He starts strumming the guitar when she finishes reading the note. It was a sight that would make any enthusiastic guitarist shudder, which was the main cause of the outrage.
Fans thought it was hypocritical that DJ Khaled, the well-known music entrepreneur, record producer, and DJ, couldn’t play the guitar in a way that would honor the music classic, or that he couldn’t play it properly at all.
Twitter users chastised him not only for his lack of guitar skills, but also for his insensitivity to the significance of a present inspired by reggae superstar Bob Marley.
Some were more compassionate than othersand defended him. He doesn’t need to know how to play a musical instrument, according to one commenter.
