KiDi is one of the best singers in Africa. He is mostly known for his songwriting capabilities, sound engineering skills and soothing vocals.

Who is KiDi?

Real name Dennis Nana Dwamena, KiDi is one of the best singers from Ghana, West Africa.

KiDi kicked off his burgeoning career by recording covers of popular songs. In 2015, KiDi took a leap of faith by joining the MTN Hitmaker competition. He went on to win the competition and was later signed to Lynx Entertainment record label.

Career

KiDi started his music career on the University of Ghana campus where he performed at various cafes. He then joined the MTN Hitmakers competition and emerged the winner at the end of the competition.

After the competition, Lynx Entertainment sealed a label deal with him. He rose to prominence in 2017 when he released his first single, “Say You Love Me.” He became a fast-rising music star the following year when he released another single titled, “Odo.”

KiDi, with his music career, has performed on several stages with top-notch artists like Davido, Mayorkun, MzVee, Tiwa Savage, Sarkodie, Efya and many others. At the just ended Vodafone Music Awards, his album, “Sugar” was adjudged the “Album of the Year.”

KiDi’s Awards

He has won many awards in his career including the “Artiste of the Year” at 3Music Awards 2021. His “Blue EP” won the “Best EP” at the 2021 Ghana Music Awards.
