Why I Beat Lecturer To Coma – UNILORIN Student, Salaudeen Waliu


A final year student at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Salaudeen Waliu, fondly called Captain Walz who beat up a lecturer, Mrs Zakariyyah, to a pulp has opened uo on the reason he decided to beat up the lecturter.
Furious Walz lost his temper and subjected Mrs Zakariya to several injuries. According to a close source, the lecturer attempted to escape however Walz kept chasing her. She made it into another office however Walz broke the window and continued punching her.
“In an attempt to escape, the lecturer fell down, sustained a head cut and was strangled by the student till she fell into coma,” the source said.
Captain Walz was detained by university security officials and handed over to the police, while she was brought to the hospital for treatment.
He explained that he went to the female lecturer’s office to beg her to waive the necessary SIWES course that he had missed due to an unexpected circumstances , but he was denied.
Per his testimony, he went to Lagos for the first time to visit a friend, and was suspected of being a thief and arrested by the police, resulting in his two-month detention.
He went on to tell Mrs Zakariyau about his heinous Lagos episode, but she hesitated to pardon him, claiming he had no choice but to join the following set, which would mean an extra year.
He claimed that when he entered the lecturer’s office on that fateful Thursday, she instructed him to go out.
He said: ”I got angry, I don’t know what came over me, I started arguing and she told me to leave her office, I told her if I don’t leave, what is she going to do?
